Lady at a peace walk

Janasatyagraha 2007 organized by Ekta Parishad, was a non-violent peace march with 25,000 tribal people against discrimination and marginalization. They walked 354 kilometers over a period of one month ending up in capital city Delhi. Once again in 2012 over one hundred thousand tribals will walk. This time i woo will walk with them.

Little boy crying

"i was shooting in Nepal mountains closer to Chinese border for a doc film on slavery. With famous Discovery series director Peggy Callahan and her FREE THE SLAVES team from USA. This little boy - only seven years old is enslaved for life. i kept on clicking my camera and did not try to hide my own tears pouring from my deeply wounded heart".

Old Tribal woman

Shooting in Kerala i visited this deep rural village where tribals were uprooted from their traditional farm land to build a reservoir. They are not opposing to development. But certainly not ready to face discrimination.
